Nuevo Tango focuses on a flexible embrace, fluidity, and continuity of movement. It explores themes such as linear boleos, off-axis movement, and breaking of the embrace.
Partner Required: Work with a partner of your choice at a higher level. While the class is challenging, choosing a partner at your level allows dancers of various levels to participate.
The workshop includes one hour of instruction followed by one hour of supervised practice with instructors to help incorporate "nuevo tango" skills into your repertoire. less

Nuevo Tango is characterized by a changeable and more elastic embrace, with a greater emphasis on fluidity and continuity of movement. The workshops will explore themes such as linear boleos, off-axis movement, and the breaking of the embrace.
Please note that a partner is required for this workshop. Working with a partner of your choosing at a higher level is recommended. While the class will be challenging, choosing a partner who is at your same level allows dancers of a variety of levels to participate. The workshop will consist of one hour of instruction followed by one hour of supervised practice with instructors to help dancers incorporate the skills of "nuevo tango" into their repertoire. less
