Join special guest instructor Virginia Vasconi from Buenos Aires and Christy Cote for a 3.5-hour workshop. This session includes a 30-minute "Tango Chat" and break.
Open to all levels, this workshop is an excellent opportunity for followers to start learning the leader's role in a supportive environment. With experienced partners, you'll find it easier to reach your goals. Participants can work at their own pace.
This month's focus includes:
- Dancing in small, crowded spaces
- Sacada technique
- Milonga less

It has helped me to be a better follower but more importantly it has given me the opportunity to explore the musicality and creativity in the dance from a new perspective which I find so fun and challenging. I love sharing this with other experienced follower's who want to learn to lead even if not on the social dance floor but just to experience that side of the dance in workshop format. One a month I meet with an extraordinary group of women for a 3 1/2 hour workshop on leading. It is open to the public, usually on the 3rd Sat of the month and always posted on TangoMango.org. This is a FREE class offering the opportunity for experienced Argentine Tango followers to give leading a try. The regular monthly workshop follows from 11am to 2:30pm and anyone is welcome to join. This month will be on leading Milonga! Cost is $75 per person for the 11am to 2:30pm workshop.
