Essential Series: Beginner & Intermediate classes with James
Join us every Sunday at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center for a unique learning experience.
1pm - 2pm: Beginner Class
Tailored for newcomers. Introduction of fundamentals such as connection, walking, pivots, and basic figures. No need for partner or special shoes. Socks or smooth-soled shoes recommended.
2pm - 3pm: Intermediate Class
For more experienced dancers. Expand on existing knowledge through the lens of technique, complex sequences, and deeper analysis of musicality.
James Kang is an up-and-coming finalist at the Southern California Tango Championship and Argentine Tango USA Championship. By day, he serves Oakland youth as a high school biology instructor.
Don't forget to bring water!
