Every first Wednesday of the month, Charles Carbone, vinyl DJ.
It's a cabaret! It's a speakeasy! It's a milonguita! It's unusual . . . American Bites invites the local tango community to dance inside the restaurant, a San Francisco Landmark. Beginners welcome! Formerly the Old Spaghetti Factory scuffed by Beats, Beatniks, and Bohemians, the floor is stone tile, so shoe yourself comfortably. Bring an appetite: the restaurant serves delicious fare with a great wine list and full bar. Hosted by a collaborative community of tango aficionados and experienced DJs. And we hope more of you will come to hear DJ James Morris tomorrow. So far the chance of rain tomorrow drops to 41%—I guess that's good news—at 7pm and goes down to 33%. That's what the weather app predicts. I predict, no matter how accurate, we'll be cozy, warm, and scuffing up the floor and/or our shoes at American Bites, rain, hail, or (moon) shine!"
