Anahí, visiting from Buenos Aires, joins us for four classes on Wednesdays, Aug 31 through Sept 28. Anahi is the director of the school Tango Entre Mujeres and is a pioneer of queer tango. Beginners welcome. This is a drop-in class, but it helps to come every week! (No class on Wed Sept 21, when we have our milonga).
This is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead and follow. No partner necessary.
Masks required unless you are actively eating or drinking.
This class is in the ballroom of the Berkeley City Club. The floor is slippery. To enter the building, ring the bell and say "tango." We are a 10-minute walk from BART. No non-member parking in the Berkeley City Club lot. Street parking is free after 6:00.
