Join us for Tango Dance Classes at the SF Community Music Center (CMC). Led by award-winning teacher Sonja Riket, these classes offer an opportunity to connect with yourself, your partners, and the beautiful, rich tango music from the Golden Era (1930-50's). Throughout the classes, you will learn the basic steps of the three styles and rhythms of Argentine Tango, allowing you to feel the music in your body and express it through improvised tango dance. The teachings also incorporate cultural and historical elements, enhancing your understanding and appreciation of tango. Please note that social Tango dancing at the monthly CMC Mission Milongas is currently on hold.
